Johnson Co, OD

Dr. Johnson Co is excited to be joining the Pima Eye Institute as a Medical Optometrist. He is eager to provide high quality eye care, and take the time to answer any questions you might have about your vision and ocular health.

Dr. Co received his undergraduate degree in Sociology and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed his Doctorate degree in Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. In school, he was involved in the Beta Sigma Kappa: International Optometric Honor Society and served as the Trustee for the American Optometric Student Association. He has diversified his ocular disease training throughout the country by traveling to his clinical rotations in Connecticut, Florida, Arizona, and Kansas. Afterwards he completed his Ocular Disease Residency Training at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care Systems (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, Arizona. To further his education, he is currently a Fellow for the American Academy of Optometry. 

During his free time, he enjoys learning about the excellent places to eat around the neighborhood, exercising at the Northwest YMCA, and enjoys playing board games. Presently he is involved with the Southern Arizona Optometric Society (SAOS) and looking for ways to get involved and give back to the community. He looks forward to meeting you!
